We are the same team that ran RustBuilt from 2012 to 2023. In that decade, we hosted 820+ events, including launching the region’s first city-wide Tech Week, bringing Startup Weekend to the region, hosting the biggest regional Startup Conference, and the first founder-led pre-accelerator series.

We spent ten years connecting with thousands of founders and funders locally and nationally. That experience led to a single conviction: Pittsburgh does not need to chase anyone else’s playbook. We know this because we lived it. Both of our founders left to build companies in other regions, and both chose to come back and build here.

This is the region that invented AI, established the world’s top robotics program, and revolutionized life sciences. It continues to produce multi-billion-dollar companies by doubling down on its own technical strengths.

In 2023, we returned to building companies ourselves. We created PSN to provide the news, opportunities, and context we need as builders. It is the trusted resource for the people doing the work in Pittsburgh, and we hope you’ll join us and benefit.
